WHAT IS CA?
Chartered Accountants provide audit and tax advisory and management services to individuals and business organizations. They can work for firms offering these services or even start up their own firms. In a globalized economy, the opportunities for them to work for multi-national corporation banks, oil refineries, FMCGs and other commercial organizations are on the rise. CA qualification is recognized as one of the best education in Accountancy across the globe. In Pakistan this profession is regulated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP), a statutory body established under the Chartered Accountants Ordinance 1961. Currently, ICAP has a membership of 5,300 plus Chartered Accountants.

CA education involves study of accounting, corporate finance, economics, auditing, taxation, management and information systems. Students possessing analytical and numerical abilities, communication skills and strong urge to excel in the global business environment have bright chances of succeeding in this field. By and large, it is recognized as one of the most rewarding careers in modern times.
